How To Create & Sell Your Own NFT On Pentas In 10 Simple Steps?
- Install your Metamask wallet extension if you are using a desktop and download the Metamask app if you are using a mobile phone. Click here to download. Make sure it is connected to Binance Chain (BNB) network. If you are a first-timer, you can change your network instantly because our developers already prepared it. If you still didn’t get it, click here to add the Binance Chain network.
Important! For a mobile user, after you download the Metamask app, open the built-in browser in that application and search pentas.io or app.pentas.io. If you open a normal browser like Google or whatever, you cannot connect to your wallet.
Side note: Binance Centralised Exchange, Binance Chain, and Binance Coin (BNB) are different things. Binance Centralised Exchange is a place for people to exchange or trade like LUNO, Coinbase, etc, while Binance Chain is a network, and Binance Coin (BNB) is a native token for Binance’s Blockchain.
2. Connect your Metamask wallet to https://www.app.pentas.io. Make sure you have Binance coin (BNB) to start minting later. You can get at any exchange. For Malaysian users, you can read here too to get some BNB easier from Luno. But for new users that join Digital Asset Onboarding Programme with Pentas and MDEC, you can dm us on Twitter and get free cryptocurrency for you to start your first minting.
3. Set up your profile on Pentas. Click on “Edit Profile” and fill it up. Don’t forget to link your Twitter account with your Pentas’s profile too.

5. Next is to create your NFT. Click on “Create NFT”. Upload / drag your file. Name your file, and put on some descriptions about your artwork. Subsequently, you may choose to put on your royalty percentages. (recommended not more than 10%)
Note: Royalty is not mandatory & a 10% rate is just a recommended rate. If you don’t know what is Royalty? Click here to know more about this.
6. Proceed with creating NFT. Voila! You’re Done! Congratulations on your first minting on the Pentas platform! Not finished yet, follow the next steps.
7. Next, your minted NFT status will be stated as “Reserved”. Now, you may add to the Pentas Marketplace, set your price, and your artwork is ready for sale. If you want to delete it, you can click “Burn token”. Gas fees are needed because it involves blockchain transaction.
Side note: Gas fees are not for Pentas, it’s for the validator who validate the transactions. For more information, you can learn more about basic blockchain on Pentas Skool (our education platform).
8. If you have more than 1 collection in 1 profile, you can arrange your other collections neatly by clicking “Create collection”.
